“And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:”

“For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.”

“And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;”

“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.”

“And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake.”
